  1. Graham Williams

Love a few of these gins including Tarquin and the Shetland Botanical, the Ophia was 66 dollars a shot on my last visit to Vegas! A lot more reasonable here. For Xmas I was given Wiliams’s GB gin from Herefordshire, it was absolutely delicious and a grade above the other 4 bottles I recieved including 2 Edinburgh gins. Sadly all gone so once the stocks are reduced will be resourced.

  2. What about Burleighs Gin
And their chain of cocktail bars 45 West
    A Leicester based company
Jamie Baxter master Gin blending genius and award winner
    Well worth a taste

  3. Bob Rutherford

    No Slingsby gin?

16 international awards including 7 double golds.

There are some lovely Gins in this list but also some shockers.

  4. Great to see Masons Gin as it is made not far from us here at http://www.carrhousefarm.co.uk and tell all our guests that stay with us how great it is. My personal joint favourite with Mason’s though is Bloom’s . Some people put flowers and herbs on their window sill I put gin bottles and have quite a lot of these that are named above.

  5. Thanks for all the suggestions for more gin – it’s amazing how many are out there!
We will add all the rest to the list 🙂

  7. Old Bakery Gin is really good, but not on this list as yet.
Just finishing making a film about it for Palmers Green Tales.

  9. Can anyone advise me please on Juniper Berry supplies to Gin manufacturers?
Do they buy in as grown or in a distilled ingredient form?
Any idea what sort of volumes we are taking about?
Genuine enquiry for a farmer in Eastern Europe.

  10. Absolutely appalling journalism. As the owner of the City of Manchester Distillery, home to Manchester Three Rivers Gin I can assure you we were the first distillery in Manchester’s history and not one single drop of Thomas Dakin Gin has ever been produced in the city. For more info on their gin contact G&J Distillers based in WARRINGTON.

  11. I would highly recommend you try Cuckoo gin, all varieties. They have something for every taste and the quality is amazing.

  12. Liverpool gin was the best until Halewood International bought the brand, changed the recipe and turned it into an overpriced, bog standard product.

  13. Mostly predictable commercial gins found in supermarkets. No real research here into the wealth of British craft gins. What about, for example, Oxfordshire’s Sky Wave Gin, named The World’s Best Contemporary Gin at the 2020 World Gin Awards. It doesn’t get any better than that.

  14. Sky Wave Gin from Oxfordshire was named the WORLD’S best contemporary gin at the 2020 World Gin Awards. It is exquisite, and should certainly be on this list.
