Best of British Wool Clothing & Accessories

[Updated 2026]

The ultimate guide to brands making clothing and accessories from British Wool – all manufactured in the UK

For years British wool has been undervalued, with farmers at times paid less for their fleeces than it cost to shear them. That’s starting to change thanks to a growing number of UK brands turning British wool into beautiful clothing, paying farmers fairly and, in many cases, tracing each garment back to the farm it came from.

Every brand in this guide makes its clothing and accessories in the UK from wool grown on British farms. You’ll find chunky British wool jumpers and cardigans, hardwearing socks, coats and jackets woven from British wool cloth, and hats and scarves to finish the look.
