Sami is a Cornish Designer and Sea-lover, currently living in South London who founded sustainable, unisex clothing brand Sami-K during the lockdown of 2020 to challenge the way we buy, wear and value clothing.
~Designing and sampling in her London studio, Sami draws influence from travel, design and living in the moment, responding to the positive energy of her suppliers, customers and collaborators. Committed to finding unique, reduced-waste, adaptable pattern cutting techniques, Sami illustrates and develops new ideas herself before working with a production team to ensure the viability of her conscious efforts. Each design is personally signed off to ensure the quality, fit, feel and practicality of a true premium Sami-k product.
~Fabrics, components and packaging is sourced here in the UK from small family-run suppliers. Our organic fabric suppliers are based in Wales and source from a GOT’s certified mill in Kerala India. Their artisan fabrics are produced in small quantities, ensuring the highest quality with minimal waste. We aim to consciously reduce our carbon footprint and support our local industries where we can by keeping all manufacturing local, here in the UK. Our components and our packaging is made using fully organic, recycled and biodegradable materials.
~Our premium unisex products are made for both Grown-up's and Kiddies and are made to last. We aim to create products that can be shared, loved and valued as they should be. Simple sizing in combination with beautiful effortless everyday design brigs joy as well as clothing that can keep us with busy happy lives.
~We aim to set standards where they should be and make a difference where we can. We pledge to assist in the world's best plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030! Sami K aims to support goals 11 and 12 of the United Nations Sustainable Development plan wherever possible with our brand.
