About Fiona Brennan and Indie Essentials
Fiona started her career in the record industry, working for independent record labels in the noughties. As International Label Manager (a fancy job title for running sales and marketing), Fiona got a grounding in content marketing as social media, podcasting and blogging were emerging.
Since 2012, Fiona has set up her own business Indie Essentials, initially providing copywriting services for small businesses. But her inability to simply shut up when she spots that something could be done better has led her to turn this into content strategy and content management for brands and service providers.
Fiona has worked with Trunki, Genius Foods, Octopus, Dr Will's and many B2B brands and services.
She now offers training and support to businesses with a marketing department of one (or sometimes zero).
