These fantastic face masks are all created by our Make it British members. They’re making face coverings in a variety of fabrics, from knitted, hand-painted silk to Liberty print.
All of the face coverings in this list are washable and reusable, and available for men, women and children!
Agnes Ashe has created hand painted silk face coverings. Every silk mask is different. They are made of two layers of silk and are reversible, washable and reusable. Some are patterned on both sides and some have a painted design on one side and a plain silk reverse.
Amy Britton face coverings are made from beautiful Liberty Tana Lawn cotton outer, manufactured with a layered soft non-woven lining. The outside stitching is 100% natural rayon viscose machine embroidery thread with an exceptional high sheen.

Budd Shirtmakers team at Andover have been producing coverings which are available to purchase for £15 with proceeds from their June 2020 face coverings sales going to homeless charities, The Passage and Crisis UK. Face coverings are cut and sewn from their Swiss cotton shirting offcuts and are therefore wonderfully cool against your skin.

Rainbow Jersey are producing an anti-microbial fabric using a world leading product Silverplus® This product is impregnated into the fabric, in the colour dying cycle at the dye house. Which means it can be applied to any fabric using polyamide or polyester yarns.

Vetigraph Fashion Digital Solutions have created a range of patterns for PPE such as face coverings, masks, scrubs and gowns. The patterns can be downloaded directly from their website.
