Based in West Yorkshire, The Stitch Society create high-quality, handmade aprons and workwear for a range of professions and industries. Taking inspiration from traditional workwear designs, we incorporate modern materials and production techniques to create stylish and durable garments that are both practical and fashionable.
Our signature product is our range of aprons, made from high-quality materials such as heavy-duty cotton canvas, denim, and linen. We cater to a wide range of customers, from professional chefs and makers to home cooks and DIY enthusiasts and offer bespoke services, allowing customers to customise their aprons with personalised embroidery and other details.
Our range has developed to include simple workwear inspired clothing including smocks, jackets, smock dresses and wrap dresses. All our clothing and workwear is made to last and has our ten year repair guarantee for peace of mind.
We take pride in our commitment to sustainability, using locally sourced materials and aiming to minimise environmental impact and reduce waste at every opportunity. As advocates for sustainability within the clothing and textiles industries, The Stitch Society celebrates the textiles heritage of West Yorkshire whilst promoting ethical fashion production and consumption.
Each of our aprons has been designed for a particular use and we are happy to discuss which apron would work for you if you need some advice. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and customer service and work with many customers to produce the perfect apron or workwear for their need. If you have a particular workwear problem that needs solving, please get in touch.
All our aprons are designed and made in West Yorkshire. They are the key to our quality and are fabulous ambassadors for our business. We are extremely proud that we manufacture in the UK and have been working with our local college, servicing the need for machinists and other qualified workers in the local area.
All our cloth is currently sourced in the UK, all our patterns are produced in the UK and we try to source all components for our packaging within the UK from our labelling, tissue through to the packaging, trying where we can to use local suppliers with whom we can build strong relationships.
