Yorkshire based studio in the beautiful world heritage village of Saltaire. Founded in 2008 by designer Jacky Al-Samarraie. Jacky’s unique signature design of silhouette and vibrant colour blocks have been inspired by her travels around Britain. Jacky is particularly interested in rural & city landscapes. She has applied her simple yet recognisable style to a varied collection of luxury lifestyle products including prints, stationery, mugs, cushions, chopping boards, placemats & coasters.
These timeless designs add elements of nature and splashes of colour to any lifestyle setting.
We sell to trade customers and direct retail through our online store.
Jacky also takes commissions for bespoke projects.
We try to source and work with suppliers and manufacturers as close to Yorkshire as possible but we also source specialists in the product areas we offer. Our bone china mugs are made and decorated in Stoke on Trent and our table & kitchen ware in Lincolnshire. Our fabric is printed and made into cushions & tea towels in Yorkshire & Lancashire. Throws are woven in Lancashire. Greeting cards & stationery are designed & made locally and also in Kent. Our prints are produced locally.
The components in our products are sourced in the UK either by ourselves or through our UK suppliers. Not every component can be found here unfortunately but we use as much as possible from UK producers. All the paper we use in cards, envelopes and gift wrap is produced in the Lake District and the archival cotton paper for our prints is produced in Somerset.
