Magneteyes UK Ltd

Magneteyes UK Ltd has been in the business of selling magnetic front connection glasses in the UK for over 10 years. Front connection eye wear is designed for anyone who is tired of always losing their glasses. When not in use they hang lightly around your neck without the need for a 'granny chain,' when needed they clip together using magnets over the bridge of the nose. Now we manufacture our own front connection glasses here in the UK. Our new brand TEYES®, (pronounced 'Ties'), brings a new level of quality to the magnetic eye wear market at a reasonable price.....Made from eco-friendly Rilsan® Clear the flexible head band can be tied into a knot without breaking and it will bounce back to its original shape. Likewise the eyepieces are made from the same material and are fully glazeable to prescription requirements if required. TEYES® are screwless which means with more than one pair you can easily swap parts for a custom look. All TEYES® are adjustable on the sides for a comfortable fit. The frame is designed to be as lighweight as possible so at Magneteyes we say 'Forget you're wearing glasses, not where you put them!'

PROVENANCE

All TEYES® are made in England. The frames, designed by David Robinson from the Chelsea School of Art, are made in Chesham, Buckinghamshire and finished in Tyne & Wear. The lenses come from Northwood Hills, Greater London and the finished product is assembled in Pimlico, Central London.

The base material, Rilsan® Clear, for TEYES® frames is supplied by a company in Buckinghamshire. TEYES® frames are manufactured by injection mould using a tool manufactured by Euromoulds Ltd also in Buckinghamshire.
