What our customers say about us...
"22 years since my first order! I first bought a batch of Corrymoor Socks after they were mentioned in a news article in 1994 and now would never wear anything else. They last for ages, are comfortable, don't give me sweaty feet and cope with all temperatures" and
"I love these socks so much! So comfy and soft. I wear them at home, with walking boots, trainers and Chelsea boots. They're such good quality and the colours are so juicy, I just want them all"
The original mohair socks…
For over 30 years, we have been breeding award winning organic Angora Goats and producing, expanding and perfecting our range of mohair socks.
Made from the silky and hard-wearing fleece of Angora Goats, Corrymoor Mohair Socks are odour resistant, naturally strong and long-lasting. The smooth fibres of mohair are unique and don’t trap bacteria which cause smells and bad foot health – less washing – better for the environment.
Our collection extends to 14 styles, 18 colours and 4 sizes (including children) and are machine washable.
We sell our British made socks to all walks of life: from businessmen to mountaineers, from festival-goers to gardeners.
The socks are knitted in the UK using traditional machines and skills by a company that has been in the same family for over 5 generations. The throws are woven in Scotland, the gloves and hats are handmade in Devon by small cottage businesses.
Corrymoor Mohair Socks use most of their own mohair and make up the shortfall by buying from other British producers of mohair. If this is not sufficient, mohair is sourced elsewhere. The Devon Stripes range is made from carefully selected mohair grown entirely at Corrymoor Farm; combed and spun in Cornwall and knitted in Leicestershire.
Packaging is sourced locally in Devon and much of the cardboard is of recycled material.
