Textile mill Sam Weller, part of SDC Enterprises, has launched a new look website featuring a user-friendly navigation system
Sam Weller was founded in 1911 and for more than three-quarters of a century have worked with the cloth finishing industry. They are one of the leading decatising wrapper manufacturers in the world,
SDC Enterprises (owned by educational charity Society of Dyers & Colourists), who acquired Sam Weller & Sons back in 2016, has designed the new website to better reflect their ongoing commitment to supplying excellence as Standard for BS, EN and ISO test procedures for textiles.
New features on the website include a spotlight on the UK manufacturer’s top products and an updated introductory video giving an insight into the production capabilities at the company’s headquarters in West Yorkshire.
SDCE’s managing director Mark Yare said:
“The launch of our new website recognises the evolving nature of the international textile trade following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
“While we always strived to offer our distributors and customers instant online access to our certificates of conformity, product information and technical support, we have invested further into our online presence in light of the increased focus on virtual networking. Our new aesthetic is more in keeping with our values of quality, consistency and excellence and the website is an improved platform from which to showcase our premium products.”
New features will be added to the platform over the rest of the year, enhancing engagement with the industry and further cementing SDCE’s position as the worldwide leader in testing consumables.
