Member News: Ceramics brand Keeeps launches charity clay kits

Keeeps charity clay kits

Keeeps curates a collection of ceramics that is crafted by emerging designers and established ceramicists, mainly from the UK. All of the pieces are hand-picked by founder Tamra Booth who travels around the country visiting studios. Keeeps supports independent potters by helping them to promote and sell their unique ceramic creations, both functional and beautiful.

In support of their charity partner, Common Ground Collective, Keeeps have launched a home pottery kit.

Common Ground Collection is a non-profit organisation, founded to create a space devoted to inclusion, support and purpose. All of the profits from the sale of the home pottery kits will provide financial aid to the charity so it can continue to offer therapeutic art workshops to those struggling with their mental health.

The kit includes all the tools you need to get stuck in with a clay session at home, whether you want to follow a tutorial or freestyle and make your own creation. The kits are suitable for any age.

These kits are vitally important as all profits from them, enable children with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues to attend art therapy workshops.

“We are really pleased to be launching our home pottery kits, which are beautifully put together by Surrey-based charity, Common Ground Collective. We are so happy to be able to give back, by selling these clay kits in support of this incredible charity that provides therapy through art for those in need.

Clay is very therapeutic, and you will benefit in two ways, by making some pottery yourself and in the knowledge that you are helping others. Everyone should try pottery!”

Tamra Booth, founder of Keeeps

“As a charity, we believe in giving back through everything we do, 100% proceeds fund our services to support those struggling with mental health issues and financial hardship, narrowing the gap between marginalised communities and therapy through art.

We believe everyone should have access to therapy through art without barriers in place; by purchasing a kit, you are joining us on our mission to make this possible!”

Gabriella Croci, Founder of Common Ground Collective
