Here at Openhouse Products it’s a real family affair. Launched by former Singer Sewing Machine repair-man, Brian Jones, in 1992, we now employ over 40 full-time staff including wife, Helen (Finance Director), son, Andrew (Director) and daughters, Laura (Director) and Samantha (Director).

Openhouse manufacture each product to order at our Family run factory right here in sunny Birkenhead, Merseyside, which is based on The Wirral. We have created 1000’s of designs over the years from Cycle panniers to Funeral stretchers. If its a textile based product it is likely we have the ability to make it. Each of the raw materials used here at Openhouse are procured to meet industry necessities. Our exclusive fabric “micrAgard PLUS” is a must have for anybody working in the emergency services. It is a dual sided, fire retardant TPU coated material that comes in 8 unique colours. The antimicrobial coating ensures it can be easily wiped clean. micrAgard eliminates the risk for spread of infection and guarantees longevity with its robust properties. Our webbing is load tested to the withstand the demands of daily use, not only that it is also treated to be water repellent, antimicrobial, and fire retardant. The hook and loop where used is also antimicrobial to confirm your bag doesn’t harbour anything nasty. Our custom-made YKK lockable zips & sliders will keep your kit safe and secure.
