About

Born from Roy Lowe and Sons in 2013, SockMine is a brand of highly technical socks manufactured in north Nottinghamshire, here in Great Britain. We are a family owned business, now in our third generation, specialising in all types of sport specific, leisure and workwear socks. We manufacture ski, snowboarding, running, walking and cycling socks to name but a few.

The GripLock™ sock is our own patented and innovative design created to solve a big problem that every runner dreads: blisters.

Blisters are caused by friction and happen when your skin rubs against a material over a long period of time, or by excessive rubbing in a short period.

That's why it's important to get footwear that exactly fits you. When it comes to footwear, ill-fitting socks are just as much to blame as shoes for causing blisters.

That's why our GripLock™ socks are designed to minimise any movement between the sock and the skin.

By completely adhering to your feet, the GripLock™ socks remove friction from your feet and help prevent you from getting blisters.

Basically, if you have a boot then we have the perfect British made sock to go into it.

We have also recently launched a range of gloriously odd and bright socks under the brand ‘Roy’s Boys’.
