Mustard Ties was established by Chris Waldron in 1996, born out of many years’ experience in the tie trade. Having designed collections for Christian Dior, Paul Salgo and Holliday & Brown, Chris was highly skilled in the art and science of tie-making, using the finest silks and the most exacting production methods. Setting up his own company in 1996 was a natural progression.

With the increasing popularity of the ‘made in England’ label for customers at home and abroad, Mustard Ties decided to expand the company by taking on a production capacity in 2013. Today they have a team of expert cutters and machinists making ties to the highest specification for some of the world’s most prestigious brands.

As well as hand-made, hand-finished and machine-made neck ties they produce bow ties and scarves, cravats, cummerbunds and waistcoats. Mustard Ties also offer machine-hemmed, machine-rolled and hand-rolled silk handkerchiefs. Ties can be made on a CMT or fully-factored basis, own brand or private label. They can also supply fully fashioned knitted silk ties made to the highest standard.
