All Nutmeg and Sage products are created in a little studio at Cher's home in the heart of the Golden Valley, an artistic hub near Stroud. The actual designing process often starts it’s life as an idea, whilst out on a dog walk with her German Shepherds in the local countryside. Nature offers so much colour and inspiration and Nutmeg and Sage creates statement pieces that reflect the surroundings; whether this is the gentle colours of the Cotswolds or the wild earth textures of Yorkshire. Coming soon is a small range of ceramics depicting new designs and are manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent.
Nutmeg and Sage creates a range of cushions, throws, gifts and kitchen accessories using only natural linen, cotton and wool felt. Linens and cottons are sourced in the Cotswolds, Bradford and Canterbury and the wool felt is hand made in Nottingham. All my surface designs are digitally printed in Wiltshire using reactive inks, which are more environmentally friendly. My limited giclee prints and greetings cards are printed locally near Cirencester. As a vegan, I do not use feather cushions pads, but instead use high quality hollow fibre pads which are manufactured in Birmingham.
