Marlene's interest in jewellery stems from her retail experience, selling fashion, accessories, and gifts with jewellery playing a major part in all her four stores. She sold work from both experienced makers and talented students fresh out of college with British products always to the fore.
After time, with jewellery becoming a passion she sold her retail business, enrolled on a foundation course at Banbury School of Art and then went on to learn her trade at Birmingham School of Jewellery. While still at college Marlene started her business, initially selling directly to the public. Growing steadily she then started selling to galleries and retail outlets throughout the UK.
Today the business continues to go from strength to strength proving very popular and much loved by customers from Shetland to Devon, Ceredigion to Norfolk and many, many villages, towns and cities in between.
I design and make all the pieces in my collections at my purpose built workshop in Oxfordshire. My silver is 925 Sterling silver which on some pieces is then 18ct Gold or Rose gold plated. From starting as a one woman company there are now four of us beavering away to get the orders out to our customers.
All our silver, components and most workshop materials are sourced from the Birmingham area with packaging produced in Oxfordshire and Northern Ireland. We then ship from our village Post Office using Royal Mail.
