"It's nice to find someone making such beautiful children's clothes",
Louise at Eroica Britannia, June 2017

Jo started the business in 2015 inspired by the dresses her mother made when she was a child. Jo's philosophy is to create well-made, attractive, fun clothes that children will choose for themselves. In Jo's own words, "the clothes must be practical, durable and look good. I believe children should be having fun outdoors in clothes that will wash well and wear again and again. I love finding novelty prints that boys and girls can wear and have chosen some especially bright colours for this Autumn/Winter."
Jo has just added trousers to the range, some everday cords and some reversible cords which turn inside out so you can choose from needlecord or a novelty print cotton. They're still being cut and sewn so watch the 'What's New' page on the website or join the Roundabout Email Club to receive details of new products and events.
Jo does all the design work, creating the patterns, grading the sizes and sampling. Based on the beautiful Hampshire south coast, she also cuts everything herself on her dining room table. The pieces are then sent to her two seamstresses, Marina and Anne, who have many years of experience and sew beautifully. Jo finishes the dresses, putting hundreds of poppers on. You can see the clothes on the website or by visiting Jo on her stand at a variety of events all listed on the website. Handmade with care and attention to detail, we believe in buy better, buy less; choose clothes which will stand the test of time.
Jo only uses 100% cotton for the clothes and sources her fabrics from a number of different UK designers. At the moment, all their fabrics are printed abroad in Vietnam, Japan or the US.
