All woven scarves are made in Yorkshire woollen mills.. Our knitted scarves are also made from British wool. Natural and rare breed rugs are made from British sheep, tanned in the UK and finished by Richard Sexton by hand in the Richard Sexton & Co. warehouse. All wool lined moccasins and slippers are made in the UK. Sheepskin snuggle boots are also made in the UK. Most accessories are made in the UK. Most of our jumpers are made from British wool and some are made from merino wool, but all of our jumpers are manufactured in Britain, Manchester to be precise. Richard Sexton & Co are members of the British Wool Marketing Board and are committed to using British Wool wherever possible. Sheepskin for hats is sourced from a British tannery where possible (about half of all hat manufacture). Other sheepskin is sourced from Europe, mainly Iceland or Portugal). Genuine Harris Tweed woven in the Outer Hebrides is used for a selection of hats, handbags and on some jumpers. All labels are manufactured in either the UK and Turkey by British label firms. Where Richard Sexton & Co has purchased packaging this has been made in the UK. All boxes used for our wholesaling business are being reused, no new boxes are purchased. Sheepskin slippers and gloves are made in the EU from British and European skins.
