British floral fine bone china mugs by Charlotte Noar

Charlotte Noar is an artist based in Kent that designs floral silkscreen prints inspired by the English garden.

As a child, Charlotte moved from London to a tumbledown mill house in a Kent village. As she grew up, the flora around her inspired her to capture the memories of the garden before having to sell the house due to her parents tragically becoming ill with Alzheimer’s.

Charlotte has turned these illustrations into beautiful pieces of crockery that inspire having tea in the garden, whether a quiet mug of tea by a stream or pond or a gardener’s tea break.

The art and mugs together are a legacy to a special place and a reminder that while we cannot stop time from passing by, we can find something beautiful to hold on to.

Inspired by and designed in a Kent garden, these mugs each feature a different English garden flower. The artwork is colourful, fun and fresh, taken from original silkscreen prints handmade by Charlotte in her Kent garden studio. This range of English garden flower mugs are perfect for tea in the garden, and the ideal gift for Mother’s Day.

The mugs are made exclusively at Duchess China 1888 in Stoke on Trent, one of the last potteries in the UK to make 100% British fine bone china using only Cornish clay.
