Violet Flamingo has created bespoke garments for individual clients over the last nine years and is based in a creative artist studio tucked away in Littleborough, Rochdale. 

Founder, Lindsey James, studied fashion design and manufacture at university and then went on to work for an independent British brand, Kevan Jon. She worked up to assisting Keven, cutting and running production in the micro-factory. Whilst working there she also gained freelance experience in styling, pattern cutting, making costumes and creating bespoke garments for friends.

Lindsey’s passion is to create limited edition garments for her clients. She doesn’t want to create hundreds of the same products as she always wants to offer something unique. The quality of a VF garment is so important to the brand. They believe that a piece should feel fabulous but also make your look fantastic.

All the Violet Flamingo garments are made in the UK. Lindsey produces everything herself and she ensures the same high quality by working with reputable UK manufacturers.
