Business minister Mark Prisk unveils finalists of British manufacturing & innovation challenge
The finalists for the Government’s Make it in Great Britain Challenge have just been released, and amongst the potential winners are a hop-on golf trolley, a pushchair that can be folded into a backpack and a low-cost solar water heater. The winning entrants will showcase their inventions at the Make it in Great Britain exhibition at the Science Museum in London this summer, alongside British manufacturers including Maclaren cars. Amongst the judges was Deborah Meaden, who has spoken to us before about her support for the UK manufacturing industry.
Visitors to the six-week exhibition will be invited to vote on their favourite entry and winners from each weekly vote will feature together in the final week of the event.
